“It is late afternoon by now, and the sun is slowly setting on the stupa. Families with their children, monks with their maroon colored robes, and lovers with their hands entwined sit on the stupa or take walks around it, turning prayer wheels and chanting as they walk by. It is possibly the most at peace I have felt since this trip began, and I sit there taking it all in, while my heart voluntarily sings along with the songs that are playing in a language that I do not understand.” —- Boudhanath, Nepal, 2006.
